Answers to Common Questions

When do items ship?
Most orders ship within 2-3 business days. If an item in your order is on backorder, we will hold the order unless it will be more than 5 days. If it will be more than 5 days, we will ship what is available and ship the remainder when it arrives.

Do you create custom kits?
Yes, we will create any kit you need.

Are you available for onsite consultations or demonstrations?
Yes, we will come to your location with the products you would like to preview.

Home 4 School Gear accepts orders from schools, colleges, universities, Co-ops and businesses. Please email us with details about what you would like to purchase.

5% off orders over $250. Further discounts over $400.


1st order must be prepaid. Subsequent orders can take advantage of Net 20 terms.

We have a program that will save you 5% to 10%.

TO ORDER BY PHONE: You may call us to place your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover over the phone. We also accept Checks, Paypal(Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) and Amazon.com Payments. We take orders 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri EST, 919-417-2878. If you get voice mail during business hours, you can leave your name and number and we will call you back to take the order.

TO ORDER BY MAIL: Write your order out on a sheet of paper, including item number, description and price. North Carolina residents please add 7.75% sales tax. Use the chart below to figure your shipping.

You may pay by credit card, check or Postal Money Order.


Credit card information must include the billing address of the card, phone number, credit card number, expiration date and the 3 digit number on the back of the card.(We recommend that you call with your credit card number).

RETURNS: If an item you purchased here is not what you wanted, you may return it within 30 days, in unblemished, resellable condition, for a full refund (less 5% restocking fee) of the price of the item.
You are responsible for return shipping.

PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING IS NOT REFUNDABLE.
If you received free shipping and you return items bringing your total below the free shipping minimum, you will be assessed a shipping charge.

Please also note before ordering that software, tapes, CD’s, and videos cannot be returned if opened. They can only be exchanged for the same item. We cannot accept items for return if they are damaged. If you keep an item past 30 days, we can try to help you find a buyer, but it will be at a reduced rate. Please allow up to 4 weeks to process returns.

SHIPPING: RATES FOR ONLINE ORDERS MAY DIFFER FROM PRINTED ORDERS.

We ship via Fedex or USPS Mail, whichever is most efficient. Your phone number and street address are required.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING: Overseas rates can be quoted over the phone or by email. Contact us for shipping options and prices if you are mailing in an order. Please give an active email address so that we can contact you. We do not charge extra fees for overseas orders - straight shipping charges per the carrier of your choice.
